13 places to get pizza in Charleston: King Street and the peninsula, West Ashley's Sam Rittenberg and Ashley River Road, Folly Road and Clements Ferry.
Last checked Oct. 16, 2026. Refreshed every three months.
Pizza in Charleston clusters on the peninsula: nine of the 13 places on this list are downtown, three of them on King Street. West Ashley has two chain counters on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard and Ashley River Road, and there is one place each on Folly Road on James Island and Clements Ferry Road in Cainhoy.
How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Charleston, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added Frannie & The Fox because its own page lists Neapolitan pizzas. We left out Gilroy’s Pizza Pub, whose website shows no address or hours; New York City Pizza, whose “downtown” page lists only Hilton Head and Bluffton locations; Uptown Social, whose menu has no pizza; and two cafeteria and coffee counters, City Bistro at the College of Charleston and Clerks Coffee Company. The list is alphabetical. It is not a ranking or a recommendation, and nobody paid to be on it. Run one of these places? Write to us to correct your entry.
