Wings in Charleston are mostly a sports bar and pizza counter item. Nine places on this list are on the peninsula, three of them on King Street; three are in West Ashley along Sam Rittenberg Boulevard and Ashley River Road; and two are on Folly Road on James Island.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Charleston, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026. We added Charleston Beer Works, D’Allesandro’s Pizza, Home Team BBQ, Kickin’ Chicken, Papa Johns and Uptown Social because their own menus or location pages list wings at a Charleston address. We left out Rusty Bull Brewing, whose own site gives a North Charleston address, Danny’s Philly’s Steaks, whose website no longer loads, and Wingstop on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard, which has no location page we could open. The places

Charleston Beer Works calls itself upper King Street’s original sports bar, with more than 48 beers on tap. Its food menu has a section headed “The Wings,” and it suggests asking for its buffalo dumplings tossed in any of the wing sauces.

CO is a Vietnamese and Asian restaurant on King Street. Its menu lists Malaysian chili wings, and it takes reservations and pickup orders.

D’Allesandro’s Pizza on St. Philip Street is a neighborhood pizzeria that has been downtown since 2006. Wings are on its menu with pizza, calzones and sandwiches, for dine-in, pickup or delivery.

Domino’s at WestEdge lists bone-in and boneless wings with its pizza for carryout and delivery on its location page.

Fam’s Brewing Co. is a craft brewery and taproom on Folly Road. Its menus page lists pizza, wings, burgers, appetizers and salads beside its beer list.

Home Team BBQ has two Charleston restaurants, downtown on Williman Street and in West Ashley on Ashley River Road. The downtown menu lists smoked chicken wings by the half dozen or dozen, dry rubbed with Alabama white sauce, and both locations seat first come, first served.

James Island Fire Grill is a hibachi, sushi and Chinese takeout restaurant on Folly Road. Its online menu sells four-wing plates with french fries or a choice of fried rice.

Kickin’ Chicken is a Charleston-born sports bar chain with a downtown restaurant on Romney Street and a West Ashley one on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard. Its food menu lists wings tossed in buffalo sauces or rubs, with ranch or blue cheese, and a catering pack built around 24 wings.

Papa Johns on Ashley River Road lists wings with its pizza and breadsticks for delivery and carryout.

Taco Boy on Huger Street is a Mexican taqueria. Its menu lists six crispy chicken wings served with chipotle ranch, and the restaurant runs a weekday happy hour in the bar area.

The Rooftop at The Vendue is the rooftop bar of The Vendue hotel near the waterfront. Its food menu lists boneless wings, and it posts a happy hour from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday to Thursday.

Uptown Social on upper King Street is a bar and entertainment venue that opened in 2018. Its menu lists traditional wings by the six or 12.
