These are our where-to-eat lists for Charleston, one for each kind of food. Every list is alphabetical, gives each place’s address, phone and hours as its own website posts them, and links to the place’s own page. None of them is a ranking, and nobody pays to be on one.
How we made these lists. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Charleston, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 16, 2026, with a few places added from their own sites. Each list says what we added and left out. Run a restaurant? Write to us to correct your entry.
